We are currently looking for a highly motivated Student to join our Customer Service team.

Principle duties and essential functions

The primary responsibility of the Student will be working in the Customer Service department for ADVA Optical Networking.

Other tasks and responsibilities

  • Administration of all ADVA/ OSA customers on Customer Portal

    • Setup of new accounts based on approval from the Key Account Manager

    • Initial training of entitled customers on the Customer Portal with the GUI Community

    • Maintaining the accounts, unlocking any accounts that are locked

  • Upload of the content for releases (software, software documentation, MIB files) to the libraries -> for WDM F7, F8, ALM

  • Announce the new release to applicable customers per Change Notification System using the MailChimp tool

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • Ability to work at least 24 hours per week

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills
