Faculty of Navigation Wins "Studies of the Future" 2022 Award

GMU Faculty of Navigation Gains Certificate of Accreditation and Innovation Award at 7th Edition of National Competition and Accreditation Programme “Studies of the Future”. 

The competition awards the most innovative and modern disciplines and programmes of study at Polish centres of higher education. The prestigious title of "Studies of the Future" was awarded to the Faculty's undergraduate degree programme in Navigation. A statuette and wreath were presented during a ceremony at the Activists' Palace of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań to Dr Tomasz Neumann, Dean of the Faculty of Navigation.

The "Innovation Award" certificate is awarded for certified study programmes which introduce the most innovative and unique solutions in relation to teaching materials as well as the technology supporting the teaching and learning process.

The "Studies of the Future" project is a competition based on quality and a nationwide environmental accreditation programme addressed to higher education institutions. The programme identifies and awards faculties and specialisations which stand out in the market due to their modern educational concepts, innovative learning outcomes, innovative practical education models and effective implementation of academic objectives in accordance with the needs and expectations of the labour market, in close cooperation with the socio-economic environment. The quality label "Studies of the Future" is awarded to faculties and specialities, which base their curricula and educational principles on the foundations of striving to provide up-to-date, applicable, modern knowledge, creating skills and social competencies sought by employers and investing in the highest quality of education.
