GMU professors among the best scientists in the world
The prestigious group of the top 2% of the most influential scientists in various disciplines in the world once again includes researchers from Gdynia Maritime University (GMU).
The new list of the top 2% of the most influential scientists from around the world, prepared by scientists from Stanford University, includes two rankings. The first one takes into account the scientific achievements of individual scientists from the beginning of their careers to the end of 2020 and includes both individuals who are currently professionally active and those who have already retired. The second ranking takes into account achievements during the year 2020 only.
The first ranking includes scientists from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering:
- Professor Tomasz Tarasiuk
- Professor Piotr Gnaciński
- Professor Krzysztof Górecki
- Professor Janusz Zarębski
The second ranking includes:
- Dr Agnieszka Lazarowska
- Professor Krzysztof Górecki
- Dr Paweł Górecki
From among the186,000 scientists from around the world included in the ranking, 957 experts from Poland were awarded.
