Grand Inauguration of EOW MBA

The first edition of the Executive Offshore Wind MBA is now underway, following the official inauguration of the Programme at GMU. 

During the grand inauguration ceremony, the first group of successful applicants to the EOW MBA were officially welcomed as participants in the Programme by GMU representatives Dr Sambor Guze - the Deputy Rector for Education,  Dr Dariusz Barbucha - the Deputy Rector for Science, Andrzej Popadiuk, the Director of the Offshore Wind Energy Centre, and Dr Tomasz Harackiewicz, Coordinator of the EOW MBA Programme.

Best wishes and congratulations were expressed to participants and University staff from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Poland Ole Toft in a video message, the Ambassador of Great Britain to Poland Anna Clunes in a letter of congratulations, as well as in a speech given by Mariusz Wintonski, the CEO of the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society (PTMEW).

Participants were also presented with letters of congratulations and best wishes for successful participation in the Programme by HM Rector Professor Adam Weintrit. The first session of the Executive MBA Programme, led by the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society, took place immediately after the inauguration proceedings, introducing participants to the most important aspects of offshore wind energy.
