Students from The University of Business in Applied Sciences in Wrocław visit GMU

On 3rd and 4th November, our University was visited by students of the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation from The University of Business in Applied Sciences in Wrocław (previously WSH), a fellow member of the VISTULA group of Universities.

The visitors included students from France, Turkey, Croatia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and India. The visit was organised by the Deputy Dean for Development and Cooperation of the GMU Faculty of Management and Quality Science Joanna Kizielewicz. 

Over two days, the guests visited the Faculty of Navigation, where they took part in workshops on the Navigation Simulator and a presentation at the Planetarium. They also had the opportunity to tour the Dar Młodzieży with 3rd Officer Zofia Olchowy.

On the second day of the visit, the students attended a lecture by Dr Tomasz Studzieniecki, a member of the Department of Marketing and Quantum Methods at the Faculty of Management and Quality Science, entitled "Multi-level governance for sustainable development in the Baltic Sea Region". In addition, students visited the Hall of Tradition and were shown around the University Library by its director, Dr Joanna Krzywonos. During the visit, a meeting took place with Deputy Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Dr Marta Drozdowska, an Associate Professor at the Wrocław university and Paulina Graczyk - Coordinator of the WAB Erasmus programme on cooperation in research, education and science projects, and international cooperation.
