The Working Group on Research Projects held a meeting at the IAMU Secretariat, Tokyo, Japan on 13th and 14th September 2022. Adam Przybyłowski (GMU), Christian Matthews (LJMU), Avtandil Gegenava (BSMA), Yusuke Mori and Shigemi Matsuzaki (IAMU Secretariat) met in person to select research projects for funding in the categories All Academic Staff and Young Academic Staff for FY2023. WG members also discussed the effectiveness of the research evaluation system for future research project evaluations. The meeting was the first meeting held at the IAMU Secretariat since the start of the global pandemic.
