On 18-19th February 2023, the 67th Polish Athletics Championships took place in Toruń. GMU staff member Agnieszka Kaszuba of the Department of Transport and Logistics in the Faculty of Navigation won gold in the women's pole jump with a result of 4.25m, defending her title of Polish Indoor Champion.

Agnieszka took gold in the women's indoor pole jump for the fifth time in her career. In the early stages of the season, she also improved her career record to date to 4.35m.

She is currently waiting to begin preparations for the summer athletics season, namely the University and European Team Championships.
