Faculty of Marine Engineering to Hold Mechanical Engineering Day
On Thursday 19th October 2023, the Faculty of Marine Engineering will celebrate Mechanical Engineering Day. We invite all students and those interested in Mechanical or Marine Engineering to join us for what will be an eventful day. The honorary patrons of the event are Rector Professor Adam Weintrit and the Mayor of Gdynia, Dr Wojciech Szczurek. Partnering with the event is the Gdynia Maritime University Student Parliament, and the media partners are Gospodarkamorska. pl and Zielona Gospodarka. pl.
Events planned include a competition for the best diploma work, as well as a competition for the best work experience reports, coffee and the chance to talk to experienced mechanics, including faculty graduates, and socialising in the University’s student club ‘Bukszpryt’.
The Faculty will be visited by guests, including pupils from the Gdynia secondary schools and the Association of Senior Marine Mechanic Officers.

Mechanical Engineering Day is organised by the Faculty of Marine Engineering, in particular for its students who are encouraged to take parts in its events.
