Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Marks 25-Years of Cooperation with Secondary Schools
At the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Marine Engineering, Professor Andrzej Miszczak held a meeting on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the first educational workshops for secondary school students conducted by the Faculty’s Department of Physics.
Marking the anniversary along with the Department of Physics was the Director of the 1st General High school in Gdynia, Lydia Łączyńska. Also taking part were the directors of the Catholic General School, Leszek Ciesielski, and the 2nd General Secondary School, Elżbieta Zaręba, as well as physics teachers from these schools. The initiator of cooperation with the Department of Physics, Maria Siemianowska, was also invited to attend.
Representing GMU was the Deputy Rector for Education and GMU Associate Professor, Dr Sambor Guze.
