Coming Soon - Student Maritime Conference 2024
On 24 April 2024, the 14th edition of the biggest student conference on logistics, the Student Maritime Conference 2024, with take place at Gdynia Maritime University. The Conference is organised by the Translog Transport and Logistics Student Scientific Circle of the Faculty of Management and Quality Science at Gdynia Maritime University.
The event will be held over two days on 24-26 April. The principal topic of the Conference is “We are… Mega Trends 2030 – is the TSL sector ready for change?”
This year’s event aims to raise awareness of Mega Trends. Each of the Mega Trends begins with the word “We” and therefore we should ask ourselves what we can do to prepare for future change. Mega Trends are large-scale and long-term environmental and civilization changes that are global in nature and will have an inevitable impact on the shape of our civilization. Their inclusion is essential in the implementation of long-term forecasts and strategies.
The event will provide participants with the opportunity to hear inspiring talks and lectures by experts from the Transport, Shipping, and Logistics industry and more. The winners of a competition for the best academic paper and a scientific poster will also be announced. The evening will include a ferry trip to Sweden with Polferries.
