Gdynia I-Days Conference Gets Underway at GMU

The 2nd edition of the Gdynia I Days - Academic Gdynia Innovation Days conference got underway today, 25 March 2024, in the University’s T. Meissner Auditorium in the main University building. The conference is organised by the GMU Technology Transfer Office.

The event was opened by HM The Rector of Gdynia Maritime University, Professor Adam Weintrit, the Deputy Rector for Cooperation and Development, Professor Tomasz Tarasiuk, and the Director of the Technology Transfer Office, Dr Magdalena Kukowska-Kaszuba.

The first day of the conference includes expert panels during which specialists from around the country will discuss matters connected with invention patents, how to develop an innovation support network at centres of higher education and methods for the commercialisation of innovations.

The event will last two days.
