Following the start of the New Year, HM The Rector of Gdynia Maritime University, Professor Adam Weintrit, appointed a new deputy director of operations at the Maritime Institute.

At the request of the Director of the Maritime Institute, Krzysztof Czaplewski, the Rector appointed Dr Radosław Opiołe to the role. Mr Opiołe is the Head of the Institute’s Department of Water Ecology.
