Registration for Pomeranian Researchers' Night Now Open

On this one special night of the year, Friday, 26th September, Gdynia Maritime University scientists will step away from their daily routines and ongoing research and open the doors to their workplaces to show children, young people, and adults alike just how fascinating, exciting, and most importantly, accessible science truly is for everyone.

During Pomeranian Researchers’ Night, the mysteries of laboratories will be revealed, and even the most bizarre questions will be answered.  Pomeranian Researcher’s Night aims to ignite a thirst for knowledge, inspire the joy of discovering the world, encourage analytical thinking, foster curiosity, and spark the imagination in everyone.

Those who take part in Pomeranian Researchers’ Night at Gdynia Maritime University/Main Building at ul. Morska 81-87, will discover if pyrolysis is an effective method in the utilisation of plastic waste, get to know the heart of a ship and visit our Ship Power Plant Simulator, take part in workshops as part of Clean Sea Academy, step into a mysterious room that, for this one special night, will transform into a space full of riddles and puzzles.
