Sign Up for Sports Day 2025
Registration for GMU Sports Day 2025 is now open! With Sudoku, kayak races, tugs of war, rowing ergometers, climbing wall competitions and more, this year’s University Sports Day is set to be a thrilling occasion of sports rivalry. We would like to invite all staff and students to sign up and take part.
This year’s event will be organised into three parts:
1. Sudoku - 06/05/2025, 16:00, room A16.
Open to all. Duration: 60 mins. Team places will be awarded according to the result of the highest-placing member of each team.
2. Water sports - 13/05/2025 at the Stella Maris Recreation Centre, near Chmielno in Kaszuby.
The disciplines and the number of persons taking part from each team are as follows:
Kayak race - 2 persons, including at least 1 woman
Stand-up paddle (SUP) board races- 3 persons, including at least 1 woman.
Sailing races - 2 persons
3. Land sports - 15/05/2025 at the GMU Sports and Recreation Centre, ul. Morska, Gdynia.
The disciplines and the number of persons taking part from each team are as follows:
a. Team skiing - 4 persons, including at least 1 woman.
b. Team crate races - 6 persons, including at least 1 woman.
c. Blanket ball - 8 persons, including at least 1 woman.
d. Climbing wall - 3 persons, including at least 1 woman.
e. Ergometer Rowing Races - 3 persons, including at least 1 woman.
f. Ring pass - 10 persons, including at least 2 women.
g. Tug of war - 10 persons, including at least 3 women.

In your email please indicate the disciplines in which you’d like to take part and your t-shirt size (XS-XXL).
Should more persons than are required register their interest in taking part, team places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
