Gdynia Maritime University has concluded an agreement with the Łukasiewicz - EMAG Institute in Katowice. The agreement was signed during the ceremonial sitting of the Senate of GMU during University Celebration Day. In the agreement, HM Rector of Gdynia Maritime University, Professor, Adam Weintrit, and the Director of the Łukasiewicz - EMAG Institute, Dr Artur Kozłowski indicated their willingness to cooperate in the creation of research teams, in particular those connected with joint projects and applications concerning cybersecurity; technical, technological and ecological safety; industry 4.0; artificial intelligence; and the use of intelligent digital technologies related to IoT, digital twins, data analysis, decision support systems, learning systems, automation, and autonomy. The above are just some of the potential areas of cooperation, which may extend to other areas given the range of competencies and the level of experience of the two partners.
