Pomerania Academic Championship Held at GMU
On 25 January 2025, 37 participants from four universities participated in the Pomerania Academic Championships held at the GMU Sports and Recreation Centre.
Taking part were contestants from the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the Medical University of Gdańsk. Gdynia Maritime University was represented by 10 participants trained by Kacper Falkiewicz, a trainer in the GMU Sports Department.
Both our representatives in the women’s category, Wiktoria Kusz and Nelly Kupiturska, qualified for the finals, with Wiktoria Kusz finishing in 3rd place. In the men’s category, our University was represented in the finals by Jakub Ostrowski, Stanisław Jeka, Jonatan Wójcik, and Wiktor Witkowski.
