Research Projects
The International Association of Maritime Universities has, from its conception, sought out innovative research activities aimed at promoting progress in capacity building at maritime universities around the world. The IAMU research project system has been implemented through the autonomous international coordination of IAMU member universities since 2010, under the leadership of the Academic Affairs Committee.
A renewed version of the research project system was launched on 1st April 2018. The aim of this initiative was to pass on maritime knowledge and skills to the next generation of IAMU member universities. In order to achieve this objective, the IAMU research project system is now organised into two research project frameworks:
1. for all academic staff,
2. for young academic staff.
