First EOW MBA webinar on green hydrogen

During the first of a series of webinars for Executive Offshore Wind MBA participants, Erik Pietsch and Andreas Strand from KONGSTEIN discussed scenarios for the geopolitics of green hydrogen, which is likely to play a key role in the energy transition.

Green hydrogen, produced using offshore wind power, has the potential to enable the decarbonisation of many sectors, such as mobility, energy and industry. Clean hydrogen can enable the shift to a new energy system that will have a significant technological, environmental and economic impact.

During the webinar, issues such as how much green hydrogen should be produced to meet the expected demand, what will hydrogen storage and transmission look like in 2030 and 2050, how will ports and transmission infrastructure function in this new energy ecosystem.
