During the 'Offshore Wind - Risk, Security, Financing' conference Prof. Maciej Matczak, director of the GMU Maritime Institute (as a panellist) and Andrzej Popadiuk, Director of Offshore Wind Energy Centre (as a moderator) participated in the panel discussion ‘Innovations and Research – impact on energy security and competitive advantage’. During the debate key drivers of the energy transition, including breakthrough technologies, digitalisation, floating wind, CCS, energy storage, green hydrogen, autonomous vessels, seabed surveys for OWFs were discussed by offshore wind leaders and experts.
