To access the Library’s collections and resources, please read the Rules and Regulations and come to the Circulation Desk to create a library account (remeber to bring your student ID with you).

During the first login to the library account (after November 23, 2023) every user needs to reset their password. Tutorial on how to reset your password is available here.

Your student ID is your library card. Your library card number is 53000 + your student ID number (for example: 5300012345)

How many books can I borrow as a student?
Your account allows you to borrow up to 8 books at any one time. The borrow period is 30 days, but you can extend it 5 days before the original return date for another month (max 180 days total).

If you are late with returning books or extending the return time you will be charged a fee of 0,5 PLN per day for each book, or 5 PLN per day for books from the Reading Room. You can pay those fees at the Circulation Desk at the Main Library.

Digital collections access – use the computers in the Reading Room for access to the PROXY system.

To access collections and resources from other public university libraries in the Tricity area – ask the Librarian staff for a referral.

To access collections and resources from libraries outside of the Tricity area – use the Interlibrary service. Instructions here.
