Information for Students

Procedure for obtaining an agreement for a sea training placement abroad:

1. Students must first apply to the Dean’s Office for a referral and submit it to the Ship Operations Department.
2. The Department’s staff draw up an agreement (minimum of 1 working day)
3. The student signs and collects the contract from room B-115 and presents his/her Seafarer's Book for a member of staff to make an entry.
4. The agreement functions as an insurance policy.
