Gdynia Maritime University GMU

The Ship Management and Seagoing Service Department is a specialised unit at Gdynia Maritime University dedicated to the management of the University's fleet and the organisation of seagoing service opportunities for its students. The Department has been an integral part of the University since the end of the Second World War.

The Department's team is made up of specialists with a wide range of experience and skills, gained through work at sea and within large companies and organisations.

The Department's work is concentrated in two main areas:

• The operation and servicing of the University's training ships, Dar Młodzieży and Horyzont II.
• The provision of seagoing service opportunities to GMU students in cooperation with reputable agencies.
