Conditions of using the PROXY server

Students, doctorates, postgraduate studies listeners and UMG employees can use server PROXY outside of the UMG network, to gain access to digital resources offered by the Main Library, if:

· they have a library account

· they have an individual email account

How to activate PROXY

After accomplishing all of the conditions above, activate PROXY by:

1) filling up a form in person – available in the Main Library 2) sending an online request to: din [at] bg.umg.edu.pl, by using the email connected to your library account* (if you are a student or a doctorate**)

*after logging into your library account, you can check or change the assigned email

**UMG employees are required to use their work emails (umg.edu.pl)

After activating PROXY, you will receive an email with details:

· your user name and password

· instructions on how to use PROXY BG UMG server

· documentation on web browser configuration

Deactivation of access

After finalizing your studies or dissolving a work contract with UMG, usage of server PROXY outside of the UMG network, will be no longer accessible.
