Overview
Studying or work experience abroad under the Erasmus+ programme provides participants with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and improve their knowledge of foreign languages or other cultures. The experience and competencies gained result in increased attractiveness in the international labour market.
Under the Erasmus+ programme, GMU students may spend part of their course studying at a partner university, on an internship or in work experience in participating countries. Study abroad is offered for a period of between 3 and 12 months, and an internship/training period of between 2 and 12 months. The University may organise student internships through a Polish institution specialising in organising internships abroad.
To receive an Erasmus scholarship, students must:

- have a high-grade average (the higher the better)
- have a very good command of English, German, Spanish or Italian, depending on the country of the host university.
- be able to cover the cost of living during your stay on a scholarship (Erasmus+ funding only covers the increased cost of living abroad!).
- At both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, students may spend a total of no more than 12 months abroad.
Under the Erasmus+ programme, students may:
- study abroad,
- attend an internship or work experience placement (Faculties of Navigation and Electrical Engineering only).
