Users can request a digitalization service of Main Library’s collections, from their library account.

You can ask for 15 pages maximally or a short chapter.

Interlibrary Loan Service (WMB)

Users with an active library account can borrow books from libraries outside of the Tricity area, by Interlibrary Loan Service.

Information service

Library provides training courses, including:

· understanding the functioning of the Library and it’s collections

· different ways of research by using available digital resources

Conference room

Space for organizing meetings, training courses and events.

Employees of Maritime University can make a reservation for the Conference Room for a specified time of the day.

Two Rooms intended for individual work for students, doctorates and employees of Gdynia Maritime University.

Student’s lounge

Space intended for recreation and teamwork.

Academica, the Digital Library of Scientific Publication, substitutes the traditional interlibrary service and allows its’s users to benefit from National Library’s digital collections. Users have access to more than 3 million publications about every field of knowledge, including the latest ones; within the meaning of copyright law.

Licensed publications or ones not protected by the copyright law, are available for every user of the Internet, without limit, but publications protected by the copyright law are accessible only on the Reading Room’s terminal.
