User Registration on Computer Network at Student Residences

Every student living in one of the University's Student Residences has the right to connect to a wired computer network with access to the Internet.

Registration is required to gain access to the network.

How to register on the subnetwork at a student residence:

  1. Connect an ethernet cable to the wall outlet in your room.
  2. Set the network connection properties on your computer to obtain the IP address automatically. Select the correct options for TCP/IP: "Get the IP address automatically," and "Get the DNS server address automatically."
  3. Open a web browser and go to: https://rejsdm.sdm.umg.edu.pl
  4. Read "Description of the Registration Procedure."
  5. Select the "Auto-registration" link and complete the procedure as described.
