On 20-22 April 2026, the 16th Student Management Conference, organised by TRANSLOG - a transport and logistics student scientific society, was held at GMU. As in previous years, the event proved to be very popular.

Taking part in this year’s conference were more than 150 participants from various Polish universities and many GMU staff members, including Dr Sambor Guze, Deputy Rector for Education and Student Affairs; Dr Joanna Kizielewicz, Associate Professor; Professor Tomasz Tarasiuk, Deputy Rector for Internationalisation, Cooperation and Development; Filip Malata, GMU Chancellor; Professor Andrzej S. Grzelakowski, Head of the Department of Logistics and Transport Systems; Dr Adam Przybyłowski, Associate Professor; and Dr Tomasz Owczarek, Deputy Dean for Organisation of Study Programmes and Education at the Faculty of Computer Science.

This year’s conference centred on the theme ‘Mission Possible,’ highlighting the idea of barrier-free logistics. The event focused on overcoming technological, organisational, and environmental barriers in the transport, forwarding, and logistics sector.

After the conference, the participants headed for the ferry terminal to catch the 18:00 14-hour crossing to Nynäshamn, Sweden. As in previous years, the integration cruise proved to be a great experience for the students. The trip showed that university is not only about studying but also about enjoyable experiences and making memories that will last a lifetime.
