IT Department
The University's IT department provides services and resources to the University's Computer Network and implements and manages the IT systems made available through the Network.
The department consists of three Teams:
- Computer Network
- Applications
- User Support
The Computer Network Team is the central operator of the University's IT network. The tasks of the central operator include the management (design, administration, operation) of the University's computer network.
The Applications Team manages (design, administration, operation) IT systems that support the functioning of the University (except finance and accounting and HR) and database systems.
The User Support Team provides support to GMU staff and students, including providing support for the use of IT hardware and software, university-wide IT systems, and audiovisual equipment to the University's administration staff. The Team can also be consulted when choosing appropriate IT and audiovisual equipment and programs.
