The mission of the Gdynia Maritime University Doctoral School is the interdisciplinary preparation of doctoral candidates for involvement in scientific, teaching and expert work for the benefit of the academic, social and economic community through the independent and standardised selection of subjects by qualified personnel of high social competence.
Graduates of the GMU Doctoral School are prepared to plan and pursue their own scientific careers and meet the demands of modern scientists as an authority in their chosen scientific discipline, whilst inspiring respect and social trust for academic teachers.
