the Grand Inauguration of the Academic Year
on
7th October 2023 at 11:00 am
on the south pier in Gdynia
(opposite the aquarium)

 

Order of Events:

  • National Anthem and raising of the flag
  • Inauguration speech by HM Rector Professor Adam Weintrit
  • Swearing of the oath and matriculation of 1st-year students and doctoral candidates
  • Rendition of Gaudeamus Igitur by Gdynia Maritime University Academic Choir
  • Guest speeches
  • Close of the ceremony

A Holy Mass will be held for the intentions of the University staff, students, doctoral candidates, and alumni at the Redemptorist Church, on ul. Portowej 2, Gdynia, on 7th October 2023 at 9:00 am.
