GMU and Geofizyka Toruń S.A. representatives hold working meeting

After formally agreeing on cooperation on 16.06.2021, the first working meeting between Gdynia Maritime University and geophysical services company Geofizyka Toruń S.A. took place on 30.06.2021.

The University was represented by:

  • Rector and Prof. Adam Weintrit, DSc, Eng. Master Mariner;
  • Associate Rector for Cooperation and Development Prof. Tomasz Tarasiuk; 
  • Director of the Maritime Institute and Assoc. Prof. Maciej Matczak;
  • and Deputy Director for the Maritime Institute for Development Prof. Zbigniew Burciu, DSc, Eng., Master Mariner.  

From Geofizyka Toruń S.A, the meeting was attended by:

  • Senior Vice President & COO Jerzy Trela; 
  • Krzysztof Wójcik, Head of the Geological Drilling and Environmental Protection Centre;
  • Geophysical Methodology & Supervision Department Manager Piotr Potępa;
  • Witold Makowski of the Commercial Department.

The discussion focused on the main areas of cooperation and the development of the offshore industry in the Baltic.
