Online Cruise Management Course Gets Underway
The specialist Cruise Management Course, hosted by Gdynia Maritime University, was officially opened yesterday, Monday 18th October, by University Rector Professor Adam Weintrit.
The Course, a series of lectures, workshops and study visits lead by an international team of lecturers and industry experts, will provide students with knowledge specific to the service of the cruise industry as well as give them an understanding of the requirements of cruise ship operators. Especially important to the industry are the tourist attractions and facilities on offer within the cities and regions of cruise destinations and their ability to attract potential seagoing tourists.
The event, which is part of the international project JOHANNA, will take place during seven afternoon sessions on the online platform Teams and with the last session planned on 4th November.
