Danish Embassy Becomes Honorary Partner of EOW MBA

The Royal Danish Embassy in Poland has become an Honorary Partner of the Executive Offshore Wind MBA, conducted by the Offshore Wind Energy Centre at Gdynia Maritime University.

His Excellency Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Poland has kindly accepted the invitation to join the EOW MBA Programme Board. Ole Toft has expressed the expectation that the contribution of Danish experts will help in sharing expertise and competence in the offshore wind sector and contribute to further development of offshore wind energy in Poland.

Denmark is a world pioneer in offshore wind energy. The Danish wind turbine industry is the world's largest. Currently, with over 2,3 GW of installed wind power capacity, Denmark is the fifth largest producer in the world and the fourth in Europe. Danish companies, such as Ørsted, Vestas, and Bladt, are among global leaders of the offshore wind energy market.

Danish Business Academy SouthWest is the Academic Partner of the Executive Offshore Wind MBA. With campuses in Esbjerg and Sønderborg, BASW is one of the leading education centres for the offshore wind industry. BASW has for many years educated professionals and managers for technical, IT, commercial, education and training roles within the industry. BASW experts and practitioners are among the international faculty of the Executive Offshore Wind MBA programme at Gdynia Maritime University.
