The event has for years attracted a great deal of attention from both university's students. It has become part of the calendar of the events at GMU and the Bremerhaven University and is an important part of the cooperation between them.

Participating in the seminar were 10 students from Bremerhaven and 10 students from GMU. The seminar will be held over the next two weeks, with GMU hosting students from  Hochschule Bremerhaven during the first week (10-16.05.2023), and GMU students making their way to Bremerhaven for the second week (30.05. – 06.06.2023), where they will continue sessions with their German counterparts.

Events during the seminar include lectures in English by lecturers from both universities. On the first day of the seminar, lectures were given by Professor Joanna Kizielewicz and Professor Gerhard Feldmeier.

Included in the seminars are meetings with the University authorities and representatives of student organisations, as well as visits to Polish and German companies. In addition to its scientific and educational goals, the seminar aims to familiarise the Polish and German students with each other's universities and encourage them to join programmes of study at partner institutions as part of the Erasmus+ scheme, as well as introduce them to the history and culture of the two regions of Pomerania and Bremen.
