19 Companies Attend Youth Careers Forum
The 2nd edition of the Gdynia Maritime University Work Fair took place on 30th March 2023. The Forum was organised by the Innovative Transport and Logistics Systems Scientific Circle in collaboration with the Student Careers Office and under the patronage of the Deputy Rector for Student Affairs, Dr Mirosława Czechowski.
The event was attended by 19 companies from sectors closely connected with degree programmes taught at the Gdynia Maritime University: Enmaro, Schneider Electric, Welcome Airport Services, Langowski Logistics, ONE, Sealand Liquids, ADVA, Boeing Poland, Mielewczyk, PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, LIGENTIA, PCC Intermodal, Flex, MPL Techma, ABW, Pol-Mare, FORMOZA, and the Marine Border Guard. Students of all faculties were given the opportunity to find out about offers of employment, traineeships and internships. At the exhibitors' stands, GMU students discussed industry topics, gathered information on company recruitment processes and the organisational culture of relevant companies, and made new contacts. Among the company representatives, there were many GMU graduates who shared their passion for their work and showed students the potential path of development at their companies.
The Student Careers Office stand was very popular with students, in particular the offers board. Students also benefitted from consultations with Careers Office staff on their qualifications as well as application processes.
