2nd GMU Student Scientific Circle Seminar Held at University

On 2nd June 2023, the 2nd Seminar of the GMU Scientific Circles, organised by the Student Scientific Circles Council, took place in the University's main T. Meissner Hall. The moderator of the event was Angelika Bożek from the SeaQuest and Nawigator student scientific circles.

The 2nd Scientific Seminar was inaugurated by the Deputy Rector for Student Affairs, Dr Mirosław Czechowski, and the Chair of the Student Scientific Circles Council, Natalia Winiarska.

After the opening ceremony, presentations the following scientific circles gave presentations:

  • Internet of Things and Embedded Systems
  • "Cargo" Commodity Science
  • E-Business
  • Nawigator
  • loGIStic

A total of 10 topics were presented during the session.  

During the seminar, a poster session was held during which 16 posters were presented by the following Student Scientific Circles

  • EVPL Electric Vehicles 
  • Nawigator
  • SeaQuest
  • loGIStic
  • Innovative Transport and Logistics Systems
  • Internet of Things and Embedded Systems

Translog

A competition was organised during which a commission composed of The Deputy Rector for Student Affairs, Dr Mirosław Czechowski and the Chair of the Student Scientific Circles Council, Natalia Winiarska, evaluated the works of the members of the Scientific Circles.

Two presentations received awards:

Merit:

 by Mateusz Przywarczak and Maciej Pliszka of the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems SSC -

Distinction:
"Navigation of Animals on Earth"
 by Piotr Dąbek of the Nawigator SSC
