Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Becomes EOW MBA Honorary Patron

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw has granted Honorary Patronage to the Executive Offshore Wind MBA conducted by Gdynia Maritime University Offshore Wind Energy Centre.

The Netherlands has seen a rapid development of offshore wind energy with a minimum of 4.5 GW operational in the North Sea by the end of 2023. The Dutch Government recently raised the offshore wind energy target to 21 GW by around 2030.

The Netherlands encourages the development of this promising sector in Poland. In order to foster collaboration between our countries and supply chains, a cluster of Dutch companies has joined the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Dutch Embassy in Warsaw to form a Partners in International Business (PIB) programme “LinkedbyOffshore Wind.” The partnership supports and develops business, educational and governmental initiatives.
 
Within the offshore wind sector are professions of the future on all educational levels. This innovative sector, which is constantly evolving, holds many opportunities for an interesting career in an international working environment.

Through this Honorary Patronage, the Embassy of the Netherlands will partner with the Executive Offshore Wind MBA, to contribute to the development of this promising sector in Poland.
