Gdynia Maritime University GMU

Lake Ukiel in Olsztyn saw plenty of yachting action during races for the Major of Olsztyn Cup on 12th and 13th May 2023. Regattas were held in two classes, Omega Sport and Omega Standard, and were entered by two crews from Gdynia Maritime University competing in the University’s newly purchased Omega yachts.

Despite not earning a place on the podium this time around, the crews successfully tested and got to grips with the racing capabilities of the new vessels in preparation for the most important event in this year’s sailing calendar - the Polish Sailing Championship.
