16th Sopot Science Picnic “Ocean of Changes” 2024
We would like to warmly invite adults and children to take part in the 16th edition of the Sopot Science Picnic. Gdynia Maritime University will be taking part in this year’s event.
The idea behind the picnic is to provide an opportunity for fun through learning. Participants will meet a variety of specialists and those who care about the future of the world will be able to gather more information and discuss their own ideas.
In the grounds of the Institute of Oceanology, there will be tents where more than 20 institutions will provide information on the marine environment and man’s relationship with it. There will also be lectures, and games, competitions and workshops for youngsters in the Institutes seminar room.
Entrance is free!
The picnic will take place on Saturday 8 June in the grounds of the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot.
