20th International Marine Traffic Engineering Conference Begins in Szczecin

On 6 November 2024, the 20th International Marine Traffic Engineering Conference opened at the Maritime University of Szczecin. Taking part as a member of the Conference’s Scientific Committee is HM The Rector of Gdynia Maritime University, Professor Adam Weintrit.

Taking part in this year’s jubilee edition of the event are academics, researchers, and maritime practitioners from Poland and countries from around the world, including China, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, and Ukraine. The wide range of topics discussed by experts includes safety and reliability of transport systems, navigation and shipping safety, positioning systems, autonomous transport, hydrography and geodesy, and marine robotics.

The conference will last until November 8 2024.
