Faculty Of Management And Quality Science Gains IPMA Accreditation

The Faculty of Management and Quality Science has been awarded accreditation by the International Project Management Association during the Association’s annual seminarium at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

The application for accreditation of the Faculty’s project management pathway was initiated by Associate Professor Dr Joanna Kizielewicz (the IPMA Student coordinator at GMU). The IPMA certification scheme is based on an international standard of competence for project, programme and portfolio managers. Within the framework of IPMA, students at the Faculty of Management and Quality Science will have opportunities to gain certificates which will improve their competencies and competitiveness in the labour market.

Taking part in the seminarium were members of the student scientific circle Promant (Aleksandra Czech, Justyna Klisz, Marta Frącz, Zuzanna Listkowska, Michał Romanowski and Krystian Żak) and Faculty staff Dr Tomasz Winnicki, who accepted the IPMA-Student accreditation certificate on behalf of Dr Kizielewicz.

During the seminar, the students conducted a series of talks with the representatives of other student scientific circles from various academic centres under the supervision of Dr Agnieszka Czarnecka. The talks provided an opportunity to find out about the activities of these student scientific circles within the framework of the IPMA.

Congratulations to all those involved!
