Hackathon EU Sparks for Climate: European Citizens Hackathon Championship

Climate change is one of the most important challenges of our time and affects every aspect of our lives. The Hackathon EU Sparks for Climate event is an excellent opportunity to get involved in environmental protection. Collaboration between the public, researchers, and scientists, results in innovative solutions which contribute towards the fight against global warming and its effects.

The Hackathon EU Sparks for Climate: European Citizens Hackathon Championship will be held online on  from 27 to 29 June 2024.

The organisers of the event are inviting both individuals already involved in environmental action, as well as researchers, scientists, and innovators, who can propose solutions to climate challenges in Poland, Europe, and the region.

Krakow Technology Park has provided a prize fund of PLN 5000 for the three winning teams. Two of the winners will take part in the EU finals, where they will have the chance to win EUR 5000. Most importantly, the winners will obtain the support of a crowdfunding campaign, access to a network of investors, and support in the development of their solution.

The Hackathon will take place simultaneously in 22 countries of the EU. The Polish Hackathon is authorised in cooperation with Krakow Technology Park.
