Less Light, More Stars Meetup Returns with Demonstrations in the University's Planetarium
Stargazing, demonstrations at the Gdynia Maritime University planetarium and cosmic experiments for children are just some of the attractions planned for the 4th edition of ‘Less Light, More Stars’ on 23 and 24 August in Gdynia.
As in previous years, astronomy enthusiasts will gather on the South Molo in Gdynia near the Mast Monument. Thanks to the involvement of the Experiment Science Centre and the support of Gdynia Maritime University, each year more than a thousand science, space, and celestial navigation enthusiasts gather for the event.
Demonstrations in Gdynia Maritime University's planetarium will take place every 30 minutes between 17:00 and 21:00. Each demonstration has 30 places. Free entry passes can be collected from the Experiment Science Centre tent.
'Less Light, More Stars' is organised by the Experiment Science Centre, Gdynia Maritime University, and the District Council for the City Centre.
