It is with deep sorrory that we received the news of the passing on 19 May 2025 of

Dr Andrzej Łoziński

- a long-serving associate professor and distinguished member of staff in the Department of Maritime Electronics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Dr Andrzej Łoziński was an outstanding specialist in electronic technologies, thermal radiation detection and infrared detectors. A highly esteemed academic teacher and mentor to numerous generations of students.

 We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.

The funeral service will be held on 28 May at 14:15 in the Chapel of Cmentarz Centralny ‘Srebrzysko’ in Gdańsk.
