GMU Student Ball 2025
On Saturday, 10 May 2025, the Gdynia Maritime University Student Ball 2025 was held in Hotel Mercure Gdynia. The annual event, which is organised by the GMU Student Parliament, is an excellent opportunity for integration and late-night socialising.
The Student Ball was officially opened by HM The Rector of GMU, Professor Adam Weintrit, Sambor Guze, Deputy Rector for Education and Student Affairs, and Tobiasz Chęcinski, Head of the GMU Student Parliament. The opening ceremony was led by Julia Monkiewicz, a student in the Faculty of Navigation, and Jukub Strzelczyk, a student in the Faculty of Marine Engineering.
The evening had many surprises in store. One of them was the rapper Wac Toja, who electrified the crowd and set the dance floor on fire. His performance was followed by a maritime-themed torte, which was wheeled into the room at midnight.
The Student Ball 2025 was a night to remember – filled with emotion, music, and unforgettable moments that will no doubt leave a lasting impression.
