GMU Technology Transfer Office Staff Member Elected to Council of Pomeranian District of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys
The Director of the GMU Technology Transfer Office, Dr Magdalena Kukowska-Kaszuba, has been elected as a member of the Council of the Pomeranian District of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys for the term of office 2025–2029. Membership was granted by the Assembly of Patent Attorneys of the Pomeranian District of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys. Based in Gdańsk, the Patent Agents’ District Council will be chaired during the new term by Dr Krzysztof Czub, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Law at the University of Gdańsk’s Faculty of Law and Administration. Dr Magdalena Kukowska-Kaszuba will be joined in her membership of the council by Małgorzata Kluczyk and Magdalena Leśnik.
The Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys is a professional self-governing body that brings together patent attorneys and trainee patent attorneys. Patent attorneys hold a position of public trust that involves providing assistance in matters related to intellectual property rights, particularly in obtaining and enforcing exclusive rights to inventions, utility models, industrial designs, and trademarks, as well as offering support in the protection of works under copyright law, know-how, and combating unfair competition.
