The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, has announced the government's decision to award funding to the value of PLN 400 million for the construction of a successor to Gdynia Maritime University's flagship training vessel, Dar Młodzieży. The announcement was made today, 15 May 2025, at the 11th International Maritime Congress in Szczecin, one of the most important maritime sector events in Poland and Europe.
