Admissions are Now Open – Explore Our Degree Programmes!
The first admissions round for degree programmes at Gdynia Maritime University for the 2026/2027 academic year will run from 25 May to 13 July 2026. Applications must be submitted online via the Online Application System (IRK).
Candidates taking the mathematics entrance examination must pay the application fee by 22 June 2026. This applies to international candidates applying for bachelor’s (first-cycle) degree programmes on the basis of a document issued outside Poland which, under the applicable regulations, does not in itself entitle the holder to enrol on a degree programme. The mathematics entrance examination will take place on 24 June 2026, and the results will be announced on 26 June 2026.
By 13 July 2026, candidates must complete their registration in the Online Application System and upload all required documents, including their photograph and certificate. The final deadline for the application fee to reach the University’s account is 14 July 2026.
On 15 July 2026, preliminary qualification results will be published in candidates’ individual accounts, with one of the following statuses: qualified, reserve list or not qualified.
Between 16 and 22 July 2026, qualified candidates must submit their documents to the Faculty Admissions Committees. Candidates applying for programmes taught in English should submit their documents in room B-105A. Please enter via room B-106, in the main University building on Morska Street.
The final lists of admitted candidates will be announced on 24 July 2026 after 15:00. Candidate statuses will then be changed to one of the following: admitted, candidate withdrew, not admitted or programme not running.
Gdynia Maritime University offers admissions to bachelor’s (first-cycle) degree programmes in the following fields: Technical Systems Operation and Diagnostics, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Navigation, Transport and Management.
Programmes taught in English are also available, including Maritime Business and Management, Navigation and Ship Propulsion Plant and Offshore Construction Operation (as a pathway on the Mechanical Engineering degree programme).
Candidates applying for masters (second-cycle) degree programmes may choose from: Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Maritime Business and Management, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Wind Energy, Navigation, ICT Systems, and Transport and Management.
