GMU Hosts 27th Annual General Meeting of the National Chamber of Maritime Economy

On 11 June 2026, the 27th Annual General Meeting of Members of the National Chamber of Maritime Economy (KIGM) was held in the conference room of the GMU Sports and Recreation Centre. The event was attended by the Rector of Gdynia Maritime University, Professor Adam Weintrit.
During the sessions, KIGM members reviewed the organisation's activities in 2025, formally adopting the annual activity report, financial statements, and the report of the Audit Committee. A significant part of the meeting was also dedicated to outlining the Chamber’s strategic objectives for 2026, passing the budget, and discussing the key challenges facing the Polish maritime economy and the wider KIGM community.
The National Chamber of Maritime Economy is a nationwide, voluntary, and self-governing organisation representing business entities operating across the wider maritime sector.
