GMU Launches New Executive MBA in Maritime Logistics & Offshore
Gdynia Maritime University is launching a second MBA programme — Executive MBA Maritime Logistics & Offshore (EMBA MLO). The prestigious new postgraduate education programme is designed for leaders who combine contract-based work with the development of their managerial careers. Delivered entirely in English, the programme provides access to the expertise of international offshore industry specialists and offers a unique learning format (two-week on-campus sessions every 3–4 months), allowing participants to balance work with earning a prestigious diploma.
By completing the EMBA MLO programme, participants will gain practical, strategic and operational management competencies in the most important areas of leadership and management. These include both universal skills (such as strategy, finance, and human resource management) as well as sector-specific knowledge and abilities (including maritime logistics and supply chain management, digitalisation in transport and logistics, and legal regulations). Graduates receive an Executive MBA diploma recognised on the global market.
The programme’s instructors consist of world-class industry experts and management practitioners. Classes are delivered through workshops, case studies, interactive lectures, and group projects, enabling practical application of the acquired knowledge. In view of the sector’s dynamic growth and emerging challenges, we have planned five expert sessions dedicated entirely to current industry topics, to be led by representatives of leading companies.
The EMBA MLO programme begins on 11 May 2026 and lasts two years. The course comprises 504 hours of instruction and is taught exclusively in English.
